Introduction: Until 1996, men with Klinefelter syndrome (KS) were considered to be infertile, but with the development of testicular sperm extraction (TESE) and intracytoplasmatic sperm injection (ICSI) it is now possible to extract viable spermatozoa from the testes using surgical biopsy for the future injection into an ovum.
